A Device Responsive Social Promotion

Pepsi Max wanted to engage their fans at the World Cup Cricket in a fun and innovative way, utilising social channels to promote and operate a campaign. The 6&In promotion gave fans the chance to sit on the Pepsi branded dunking chair at the match and win $1,000 if a player hit a 6 while they were on the chair. We developed a device responsive social promotion that allowed Pepsi to run entries to each of the up-coming matches in each state. Fans were able to download calendar reminders to their devices to let them know when the entry form was open for entry, as people had to be at the match to enter.

Outcomes

We developed a promotion tool that was available for people to access during the campaign on any device, meaning fans could discover the promotion while they were in Facebook on their desktops and download a calendar reminder to alert them on the day that they needed to enter. They could then access the entry form on their mobiles to submit their details and go into a chance to sit on the 6&In dunking chair.

Custom Application Development

We developed a custom web application that allowed people to access across any device on one URL. The application was seamlessly integrated across mobile and Facebook and provided additional functionality such as the ability to download calendar reminders for specific matches, rolling entry forms and a countdown device that displayed the time until the next match entry would open.

Device Responsive Social Promotion

We developed a promotional tool that was available across mobile and desktop devices and fully integrated into the Pepsi Facebook page. People also had the ability to share the promotion with their friends across Facebook, Twitter and email.
