A Facebook Promotion

Our team helped define and implement a campaign to find the biggest Pepsi Fans in Australia, where people were asked to vote for their suburb online. Our custom Facebook app was available through desktop and mobiles where people entered their postcode. They received bonus points for their suburb when they got their friends to  vote from a shared invitation. The competition was developed to support Pepsi’s NEXT soft drink launch in Australia.

Results

Hundreds of locations around Australia were entered into the competition, with social nodes developing in key areas that were actively promoting their suburb to win. The competition provided an engaging experience for the fans and helped promote brand loyalty and community ownership of the new drink.

The application provided a vehicle for Fans to demonstrate their support for the brand and provided a light-hearted opportunity to compete with their neighbours for the crown of best Fan suburb.
