A National Promotion for News

Native Empire developed a device responsive website that enabled News and Taste.com.au to run a nationwide promotion for the Taste Mini Cookbook launch. Fans of the brand could buy a different mini cookbook when they bought a newspaper in their state. The website provided the ability to display state specific content and promotional information based on the masthead URL they entered from. Included in the solution was a tool to help people find a participating Newsagent in their state where they could take up the offer.

Outcomes

The promotion provided Taste.com.au with the ability to promote the campaign across all states within the one technical solution, where state specific content was displayed to people through the one framework. Providing a mobile responsive website also gave people the ability to search for stockists on the move that helped facilitate the purchase path.

Digital Strategy and Planning

We designed the technical solution that provided one platform to operate specific campaign material for all states within the one framework. We worked with News technical and promotional teams to set up the domain pointing technology, server hosting and state-specific content requirements.

Design and Branding

We designed a site that followed the Taste.com.au branding requirements while providing a fun and stylish personality to the promotion to bring the campaign life and entice people to participate.

Device Responsive

We developed a website that worked on all devices providing people the ability to engage with the promotion while they were at work, home or on the move. Providing tools such as the stockists finder and FAQ in a mobile responsive format enabled people to look up the details of the promotion while they were in the Newsagents, which facilitated the purchase path.
